Join PPIL in Celebrating Global Female Condom Day

Today is the first Global Female Condom Day and PPIL is happy to join the efforts to spread the word about the female condom.  Female condoms have the potential to revolutionize safer sex for diverse populations around the world. Despite the name, female condoms offer receptive partners of any gender the ability to reduce HIV and STI transmission.

Across the globe, advocates, supporters, and users of the female condom are participating in Global Female Condom Day events and showing their support for increased access and availability of female condoms.

Here's what you can do to help:

1. Join Global Female Condom Day on Facebook. Use Facebook to spread the word about female condoms. Tag Global Female Condom Day in your Facebook posts.  You can use Global Female Condom Day talking points for inspiration.

2. Tweet!  Be sure to use #GlobalFCDay on Twitter to join the conversation.

3. You can also join the Global Female Condom Day Photo Campaign! Download one of the signs, take a picture with your message, and upload it to the Global Female Condom Day event page. Make that picture your Facebook profile picture!

For more information on Global Female Condom Day, check out the National Female Condom Coalition website.  You can connect with other female condom advocates in your community! Have you been keeping up with the amazing activities being shared through Twitter and Facebook?
