Planned Parenthood Illinois Action Celebrates 39 Years of Roe v. Wade

On Tuesday evening, over 400 supporters gathered to celebrate the 39th Anniversary of Roe V. Wade. Thanks to the efforts of our generous co-chairs, attendees, board of directors, and staff, we were able to raise over $50,000 for our continuing fight for reproductive freedom!

Though it was a night of celebration, we were also reminded of the work that is ahead of us, especially during this important election year. We would not be able to do this important work without your ongoing support.

Planned Parenthood Illinois Action was honored to give the Dr. Marvin Rosner Award for Lifetime Achievement to Marcena W. Love (above) and Richard J. Phelan Profile in Courage Award to Senator Heather Steans (below).

Special thank you to our wonderful co-chairs Fay Clayton, William Marovitz (below), and Laura Tucker.
