Podcast Ep. 6: Let's Pass the Illinois PREP Act!

Last week, we introduced the Illinois Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) Act. In the sixth and final episode of our podcast series, “Common Sense: The Case for Comprehensive Sexual Education in Illinois,” we’ll give you the tools to make your voice heard.

This episode will also include highlights from the PREP Act’s Lobby Day in Springfield that took place on March 30th. You’ll get to listen in on the hundreds of supporters who rallied for this important issue, with exclusive interviews from members of our Teen Awareness Group on their Lobby Day experience. And to end our series on an empowering note, Kate Barthelme, Director of Field Operations at Planned Parenthood of Illinois, will share ways that you can get involved in ensuring the passage of the Illinois PREP Act.

Thank you so much for tuning into our podcast series. We hope you enjoyed listening to the episodes as much as we enjoyed creating them! The PREP Act’s voting deadline is April 15, so don’t miss your chance to create real change in our schools and in our teens’ lives. Every action helps and every voice counts!
