State's Attorney finds no criminal activity in permit process

Usually we hate to say "we told you so", but in this case we all deserve the vindication. Just this morning, State's Attorney John Barsanti issued a press release stating that he found no criminal action in our application for a permit for our Aurora health center.

Read more in the Chicago Tribune.

We knew the only way we could build our facility without the fear of pickets, violence or other delay tactics that anti-Planned Parenthood extremists have employed in other cities was to use a low-visibility approach. At the same time, we were extremely respectful of the law and State's Attorney Barsanti's findings bear that out.

Read the press release from State's Attorney John Barsanti.

We look forward to opening our health center shortly so that we can serve the women of Kane, DuPage, Will and Kendall counties.

I work for Planned Parenthood of Indiana, and have relatives who live near Aurora. I'm glad to hear the State Attorney seems to be listening to reason. Best of luck from a neighbor! :)
